At Innovation Campus, our facilities are stylish, modern and proudly designed and built with sustainable building practices and with the principles of collaboration in mind. We boast many open working spaces which invoke connection and creation, with the facilities to support our research and collaboration.

The Central: Piccolo Me

Piccolo Me is the onsite cafe located at the ground floor of The Central Building. The Piccolo Me brand and concept are young at heart but strong on traditions, playing on the strength of emotional connections and childhood favourites; mixing traditional flavours with a modern twist.

Enterprise 1: Gypsy Jones

Gypsy Jones is conveniently located on the Ground Floor of the Enterprise 1. Offering strong, yet smooth coffee, as well as various food offerings, this cafe is the perfect meeting space, lunch time spot, or just somewhere to escape the office for a while!

Science Space

Science Space is the only dedicated science experience in NSW and is a place where anyone, young and old, can come and see how science and technology discoveries have become reality. It is a place to be inspired about what the future holds and empowered to help change it for the better.

Nissen Hut: Alumni Bookshop

The Alumni Bookshop sells a diverse range of quality pre-loved books at very reasonable prices. All proceeds fund student equity scholarships and awards for excellence. In just over 20 years of operation, the Bookshop has raised more than $269,000 to support the financial security of students in need. This is thanks to the hard work and dedication of volunteers from a group of UOW alumni and friends of the University. Opening hours: Thursday and Saturday 10:30am – 2:30pm.

UOW MakerSpace

The UOW Makerspace is a public creative space providing ‘makers’, both new and experienced, with access to tools, equipment, and training. We foster an inclusive, vibrant, supportive, and exploratory environment for all in the community who are interested in creating, repairing inventing, tinkering or learning-by-doing.
