Member Briefing: UOW Health & Wellbeing Precinct

The Central Building, Ground Floor Atrium

The University of Wollongong and its Project Partner, Lendlease, will provide an exclusive briefing on the proposed development of the Health & Wellbeing Precinct at the Innovation Campus, that will transform healthcare in the Illawarra region.

The Precinct envisages a place where you can Live Well Longer and is Australia’s first intergenerational university community – a place for living, working, learning and growing in an environment that supports complete physical, social and mental health and wellbeing.

Stage 1 of the Precinct will include a Primary and Community Health Clinic, Seniors Living Apartments, Residential Aged Care facility, Early Childhood Education Care centre and a green heart that is the central hub that welcomes visitors to the Precinct.

Join us to hear from Professor Alison Jones – UOW Deputy Vice Chancellor (Health & Communities) and Arabella Rhode – Senior Development Manager, Lendlease about the unique opportunities and challenges of this intergenerational university community and the design principles driving its development.
