Visit Us

We undoubtedly have one of the most sought after business locations in Australia.

Beachside Location

Lying adjacent to the Pacific Ocean, there is no other location in Australia that can boast being just 80km south of Sydney – Australia’s leading financial centre and Asia-Pacific headquarters for many global companies, and 250km from Canberra – Australia’s capital city and the centre of government relations.

From Sydney

Follow the M1 Southern Freeway south from Waterfall on Sydney’s southern outskirts. When the M1 reaches Wollongong, take the first Wollongong CBD Exit at Mt Ousley Road. Follow this road to the main roundabout at the Princes Highway and turn left. Turn right at the third set of traffic lights onto Elliotts Road and right again onto Squires Way. The Campus’ entrance is located on the right at the next set of traffic lights.

From South

To access our Campus from the south of Wollongong, travel north along the M1 Freeway and take the North Wollongong exit. Turn right onto the Princes Hwy and continue to the North Wollongong Hotel, then turn left into Bourke Street. Turn left again at Virginia Street, go straight through the roundabout and turn left again onto George Hanley Drive. Turn left at the first set of traffic lights into the Innovation Campus.

By Rail

The Innovation Campus is located between North Wollongong and Fairy Meadow railway stations. However, if you are travelling by rail to the Campus it is best to disembark at Wollongong railway station and catch the free Gong Shuttle service to the Campus.

By Bus

The Gong Free Shuttle service operates on a loop that connects the Innovation Campus with UOW main campus, Wollongong Hospital, Wollongong railway station, the city centre, Fairy Meadow railway station and the TAFE Campus. Buses travel in both directions on the loop. On weekdays the service operates every 10 minutes between 7am and 6pm and every 20 minutes between 6pm and 10pm. On weekends the service operates every 20 minutes between 8am and 6pm.

By Cycleway

The Innovation Campus is located on the main north-south cycleway that is part of Wollongong City Council’s 42km cycleway network, connecting Bulli in the north to Windang and Dapto in the south.

1 Hour from Sydney

Our tenants benefit from this strategic location as it is only one hour by road from Sydney’s International Airport and 2.5 hours to Canberra via a dedicated highway. Yet our region also provides other strategic, cost and lifestyle advantages compared to the business parks of north-western Sydney and commercial office space in Sydney’s CBD.

300,000+ Residents

Wollongong is a picturesque coastal city of around 300,000 residents, with a string of beautiful surf beaches and a bushland backdrop of the Illawarra escarpment. The city offers a range of residential options, from pretty coastal villages to beachside apartments near the city centre, family homes in leafy suburbs and even rural acreages. Our real estate prices are significantly lower than comparable properties in Sydney.

Free Shuttle Bus

Perhaps more importantly, most of Wollongong’s residential options are within easy, stress-free commuting distance of the Campus. We also have excellent road and public transportation infrastructure including the free Gong shuttle bus service that transits in both directions every 10 minutes during peak times to the UOW main campus, railway stations, beaches, hospital, TAFE and the Wollongong CBD.

World Class Connectivity

In addition to all of this, our Campus also offers superb global connectivity with the latest fibre-optic and broadband telecommunications technology providing fast, efficient and cost-effective connection to the business environment.

Visitors Parking

The Innovation Campus offers a convenient short term visitors car park, P1. If travelling along Squires Way enter the Innovation Campus via Puckey Avenue and take the first driveway on the right. Download our parking map for more information.

Mobility (Disabled) Parking

Parking is free on campus for Mobility Parking Scheme Permit holders. These permits are issued by Roads and Maritime Services and must be displayed clearly on the vehicle.

Mobility permit holders are authorised to access dedicated disabled parking bays, UOW Entry permit bays and ticket bays, free of charge. Permit holders are also able to use the Parking Station (P1) and should see Innovation Campus Management in B232 for a free validated exit ticket. Alternatively, when entering P1, press the intercom at the gate and inform the attendant that you have mobility (disabled) parking and are requesting parking fees to be waived.

Upon leaving, press the intercom and the attendant will raise the gate for you. Only Australian mobility permit holders who display a current/valid permit may access dedicated disabled parking bays. These conditions apply 24 hours, seven days a week. Penalties apply for improper use of disabled parking bays.
